The Client

The Challenge

To undertake a feasibility study in order to identify how ZG’s Manufacturing Philosophy (Kaizen) fits in with the guiding framework principles of the circular economy standard BS8001, and aims and objectives of the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

The Outcome

Following an on-site review with the management team a priority list of actions was compiled, which detailed the strategic steps required to improve employee well-being, which in turn would have a positive impact on health and productivity – leading to a more sustainable and profitable operation.

The Future

The Zumtobel Group have committed to the ongoing review and implementation of the staged strategy, to allow continual improvement in line with the guidance set the Circular Economy principles and the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
